Leeds

Business centre

Leeds is a very vibrand city in the north of England. Its 715.000 inhabitants like to watch all kinds of sport and enjoy themself especially during night time. Therefore the nightlife is the best thing Leeds has to offer. People who want to visit Leeds will be able to see most of the important sights (see higlights) within one day. But Leeds could be seen as an exceptional base for one day trips to the Yorkshire Dales, Peak District, Whitby, the Lakes and the cities of Manchester, Liverpool, Chester or the historical city of York. Leeds has also some exceptional restaurants, bars and a lot of nice shopping arcades. Some areas of the city are very poor developed, but other ones are very green (like Roundhay Park or Hyde Park) and offer a very nice neighbourhood to live in. Especially the city centre is changing rapidly, not only because of massive skyscrapers that emerge everywhere. The city has one of the fastest growing economies in the UK (mainly financial and legal services). So in total Leeds has many facets that combine to provide a good place to visit.
